  1. I’m an active member of the Asylum committee in Gävle, Sweden. I’ve signed your petition (I hope, I have some trouble sometimes with facebook). We are currently launching a campaign to dissuade the Swedish Migration authorities from sending a woman and her 4 daughters back to Nigeria where the woman’s husband threatens to force the daughters to undergo FGM. The Migration authorities do not think this constitutes a serious enough threat or sufficient cause to grant asylum. I think MiSOL and the Asylum committee have common interests and would therefore like to make contact. In a separate email I’ll send you details about this campaign. We’ve also organised a petition via internet as well as on paper.
